Mandatory Transfer Advising Workshops

All ECS CSUS transfer students must attend a Mandatory Transfer Advising Workshop during their first semester at CSUS. During this hour-long advising workshop, students will be advised on the following:

  • Academic requirements including GE, Graduation Requirements and major requirements
  • Important academic deadlines, academic policies, and placement exams
  • University, College, and major related resources

Continuing Students

Continuing students (not in their first semester/year) at CSUS should meet with a faculty member at least once per year. Please confirm with your specific major department’s advising requirements. Meeting with your faculty advisor is recommended in order to stay on track with major and degree-completion requirements.
